Bonnie

Anyone looking for a sweetheart?

The Kingston Humane Society has your new companion!

Bonnie wants to keep the ball
Come in to the KHS and meet Bonnie (has been adopted); a 3 year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix medium sized dog. She loves to play ball, Bonnie just may not always return it to you right away. She likes to play with the ball and let you have the ball when she's ready. I still like to play with her until she is ready to let go of the ball. You can rub her belly and she will still hold onto the beloved ball. If the ball is thrown high enough Bonnie will even jump for it; I have seen her catch the ball once.

So happy during a belly rub

Bonnie also loves - like most dogs - belly rubs. She will easily roll over when you're rubbing her; even with the ball still in her mouth.

Bonnie wants to play ball

Bonnie walks very nicely on the leash, knows how to sit, and is eager to please you. She is a calm dog, but will still be in the mood to play or go for walks.

Come to the Kingston Humane Society today and meet this adorable sweetheart!

Rambo

Rambo and my friend, Yasmine

Meet the gentle giant, Rambo. (has been adopted)

He is a Purebred German Shepherd. As I described already, Rambo is extremely gentle and calm.

Rambo is great walking and loves to cuddles. I had a friend with me while walking Rambo, and anywhere we stopped he would love to just lay with her.

Rambo loves tenis balls. He didn't seem to want to play fetch much, but when we threw the ball for him Rambo would run to it and sometimes he would lay with it or roll around next to it. It was so cute while walking or resting, Rambo would want the tenis ball. While walking he wanted the ball, but would shortly drop it (sometimes unoticed). When we were resting he paw at the ball until it was near him.

If your interesting in Rambo, please call the Kingston Humane Society. He will just steal your heart (and couch)!

Leah

Here is the adorable Leah. (Has been adopted) Leah is a 6 year old Smooth Haired Miniature Dachshund Mix

She was previously owned, and seems to still getting used to not being with her previous family. Leah is in need of someone to give her the love she needs.

Leah is very loving and sweet. Unfortunately, she did not want to go far for her walk - which is why I think she is still adjusting to her new temporary home.

Once we stopped at a bench or under a tree she was more than happy to stay there and enjoy the outdoors. It was just as we walked farther (this began not too far into the walk) from the building.

Leah is such a sweet girl. She is still adjusting, and hopefully will have a new loving home.

Marshall has a new home!

Great news! Marshall has found his new forever home! His mom Eva and dad Andrew are very happy to have found him.

I'm sure Eva and Andrew are going to have many happy moments with the marvelous Marshall!

Marshall

Meet Marshall. He is a year old Basset Hound/Beagle Mix. (Has been adopted)

Marshall is such a sweet boy. He loves to run around in the yard for a bit. He is also so happy during his walk.

Don't try to get his picture lying down alone. He will most likely come to you and cuddle.

The KHS has one just for you!

This is the adorable Jolene. (Sorry, has been adopted)

Jolene wanted me to
take her out

Jolene is a 4 month old - believed to be Lab/Rottie/ (and maybe) Shepherd mix.

Jolene still occasionally
 bites the leash
